This is just a observation statement.

I have noticed some great ideas for features. They all have positive points but also they have a negative effect.
I had Moosocial and other similar sites (phpfox, ning, social engine, hive, for 11 years

When i had Moosocial as my main site i had all of the features being requested to be put on Shaunsocial. groups, poll, chat, stores, blog, forum.
My point is, if members want to turn shaunsocial into moosocial then swap to moosocial platform. you can do so much more and create bigger site.

Shaun social is a smaller platform to create community based sites like onlyfans, insta, and others. By putting plugins and features like groups, chat, blogs, you are just creating a moosocial platform site. Also at the same time, this create problems for other shaunsocial site owners.
Example is: Messages. A request for messages to be set so that admin could not read messages, and so Socialloft team removed the feature from V1.2. This caused me a problem. As a legal requirement as admin of my site i had to have access to messages for the reason: International law for online safety and abuse and online criminality, i had to have access to and be able to read messages. So this meant Socialloft had to reinstall messages back into my V1.2.

I agree many feature ideas are great and i like many of them. I would though suggest that you have a think about the direction you want to go with your site, the look of your site and the implications of adding or taking away features or plugins, not just for yourself but how it would impact others.
If you want a big site with , chat, blogs, groups, videos, stores and marketplace and other big plugins i would suggest having Moosocial which already has these features and many more.
If you want a small site that you can build like onlyfans, insta and others then you need Shaunsocial.

Please remember, i am not complaining, this is just an observation.

I also have shaunsocial build features that i will be requesting in future.
My ideas for build features are for adding member online security, member data security, and other build changes.

As you know, the time has arrived where sites had no or very little restrictions, security and government regulation. Example is Facebook where security was not considered, rules do not apply and abuse is everywhere.
Now, UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, EU countries are implementing new legal laws and regulations to enforce laws and legal responsibility on site owners and companies.

These new laws are: “Online safety laws” and “Online child protection laws” and a working partnership with Law Enforcement in the matters of “online and offline crime and criminality”.

This means that, Sites will need to be regulated and follow the laws or face being prosecuted and fined also could have their sites shut down/closed.

So my new build requests will in some way help other site owners and shaunsocial build better, more trusted sites that are more secure for their members.
My future requests include: “Search” restrictions where members can chose option yes or no to show up in search results and admin override setting to set restrictions in admin panel.. Secret passcodes, Stopping members from seeing or changing personal data, eWallet gatekeeper passwords especially for adding or transferring funds, adding Verify Me feature to sign-up page and required to provide ID at point of sign up. Sign up questions that will be a legal requirement in future especially if site members earn money on sites through donations or subscriptions earnings.

And a couple of new features like “Notes” and “stores”. These are already available in Moosocial but i would like them in shaunsocial. But “stores” will need to be shortened down, made smaller. Reason is, Some communities might want to sell items.
Stores and marketplace is perfect for Moosocial but it is far to big for Shaunsocial.

Admin what do you think about creating music page where user can upload and stream and can also monetize there song and make money from the platform and those songs can be used on stories and only pages can upload music and only verified can make money from there songs being used instead of using Spotify api and benefit them. This should be a plugin and not going for less than $100 is it possible and if yes please consider it I’ll be the 1st one to buy

Can you introduce plugin also for user Monetization and since shaun is unique make also plugin for user to make money from there uploaded videos according with the impression of ads we will add In there videos and u can put different logarithmic for us admins to determine how much he make randomly this will be huge for shaun because none of the script in the market has this feature and vast ads to show ads at the beginning of video or middle or at the end or both and we can give the digital creator to choose where ad to be shown and this ads support platform built in ads and html. What do you think and this plugin can go @over $100

Last but not least, provide a developer API so that other website owners can utilise any of the Shaun platforms to allow their users to quickly register and provide basic information like their name, email address, and DOB. This will increase the Shaun market. When a new user wishes to join up, the example site can utilise the open id for Shaun. He will be directed to the Shaun site where he has authorised and used their api.
